    Senate Race
    Interim:  Republican Dan Heller was appointed on May 3, 2011 to serve out the rest of Republican John Ensign's second term.  Ensign resigned rather than face further investigation.  Heller is seeking election to this seat in his own right in 2012.  He currently faces only minor primary opposition.
