Incumbent:  Republican Pat Roberts is seeking a fourth term in 2014.  He faced primary opposition.  Democratic nominee Chad Taylor withdrew from the race.  However, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Koback (R) has ruled that Taylor will not be removed from the ballot.  Since Taylor has announced he will not serve if elected, Greg Orman (I) becomes Senator Roberts' chief opponent.
